IFT (Interferential Therapy)
Interferential Therapy uses two medium-frequency currents that intersect within the body tissues, producing a deeper stimulating effect compared to TENS. This promotes pain relief, muscle relaxation, and enhanced blood flow.
How it Works:
- Creates “interference” currents that penetrate deeper tissues.
- Stimulates circulation, reducing swelling and inflammation.
- Provides a massage-like effect on the muscles.
Common Uses:
- Joint injuries and sports injuries.
- Post-operative pain and edema
- Chronic musculoskeletal conditions like frozen shoulder or spondylosis.
- Muscle spasms and stiffness.
Benefits:
- Longer-lasting pain relief than TENS.
- Effective for both acute and chronic conditions.
- Improves joint mobility and accelerates tissue repair.
